Information we may collect from


We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes your CV and any other information provided at the time of registration or at the time of posting material or requesting further services.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • SCR may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of your visits to our site and the resources that you access.

IP Addresses and Cookies


We may collect information about your computer including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration. This is data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.

For the same reason we may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. They enable us:-

Where you provide us with a copy of your CV we may re-format the information contained in it using our standard template before providing it to any potential employer.  We will not, however, make any material changes to the information.

We may, in future, disclose your personal information to business divisions of the SCR Group. This means any subsidiaries, any ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries as defined in section 736 of the UK Company Act 1985.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets in which case we may disclose your personal data to the seller or buyer of such business or assets;
  • if SCR or, substantially all of its assets, are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will of course be one of the transferred assets;
  • if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or in order enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of SCR, our customers, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We may from time to time use your data to carry out reference and security checks. Where potential employers require us to assist them in the carrying out of criminal record searches or police checks you agree that we have the right to use your data for this purpose.

We will provide your data to potential employers that have notified us of vacancies for which you may be qualified but only with your express permission.  It is your responsibility to notify us of any employers to whom you do not wish to submit your details.

You have the right to request us not to disclose any of your personal data or information or to pass information to third parties.
